Reporters Without Borders USA
Free Flow of Information Act
This bill has already been passed by the full House and a different version was adopted by the Senate Judiciary Committee. If passed by both Chambers and not vetoed by President Bush, it would be the first federal shield law, aimed at protecting the reporters’ confidential sources at the federal level. Similar legislation exists in 33 States.
